Madison Academy
Faculty

Mr. Fullmer has been an educator for over 25 years. He began his
career in Lyman, Wyoming where he taught social studies and coached
basketball for 8 years. The Fullmer family moved to Rexburg in
1990. Mr. Fullmer taught history and government classes at
Madison High School for 11 years and was the assistant principal at
Madison Jr. High for 3 years. He is currently the principal of Central High, housing grades 9-12, and Madison
Academy, an alternative setting for 6th through 8th graders. He also
coaches freshman basketball at Madison Jr. High and is the assistant
tennis coach at Madison High School. He loves working with the
students and staff of Central High and Madison Academy. For more

Wade Carlson

Michael Gessel Graduated from Lewis Clark State College with a
Bachelors of Science degree in K-8 Education and Special Education
K-12. I taught for a year at Falls Valley Elementary and at Madison
High School for one year and have spent the duration of my teaching
career at Madison Academy and Central High School. "I believe that my
role in educating students is to help them become as independent as
possible and to allow natural consequences teach."
